To research and publish a book, in both English and Armenian, on the origins of the Armenian people.

The proposed study can be characterized as research in ancient Near Eastern antiquities, Hittite, Assyrian and Urartian cuneiform sources and comparative linguistics. The purpose of the study is to present a multi-pronged attack on the problem of the formation of the Armenian people as well as some related questions on prehistory and early history; to present and reconsider all known data (traditional and historical) on the origin of the Armenians; to present and to discuss all works devoted to this theme, all scientific hypotheses and theories; to estimate their strengths and weaknesses; to juxtapose their common and specific aspects; to present all new, especially archaeological, data which became accessible during the last two decades; to present all new points of view; to evaluate the existing theories in light of the new data; and to present some of the most probable solutions to the questions raised. This work will differ from other works on this subject as it will be the only study to consider all the available data and all scientific theories.
